rsLog is a transactional health information system for family planning and comprehensive abortion care. Built at the point of care, working offline, and feeding Ghana's national health system with cleaner, faster, more reliable data.

Built jointly by the Ghana Health Service (Family Health Division) and AYA Collective · The official national platform for family planning, comprehensive abortion care, and post-abortion care recording and reporting
A guided tour, from the public site and national dashboards to the workflow that turns facility records into the reports that feed Ghana's national health system.
rsLog platform walkthrough
rsLog replaced a paper-bound process with one digital platform, so the numbers that reach the national system are timely, consistent, and worth acting on.
rsLog covers the full range of family planning and comprehensive abortion care work, not a narrow slice of it.
Records new and existing family planning acceptors, the methods they choose, and counselling outcomes by provider, cadre, and session type.
Captures comprehensive abortion care daily logs, procedure types, gestational age, complications, and post-abortion contraception.
Auto-generates FP and CAC monthly reports aggregated from facility records, submitted up to district, regional, and national levels.
Tracks stock on hand for all contraceptives and CAC medicines, including receipts, issues, adjustments, balances, and stockout alerts.
Presents FP and CAC performance for facility, district, regional, and national managers, including uptake trends and reporting completeness.
Gives each user the permissions appropriate to their role, with full activity audit logs across the system.
Every screen maps to a step a provider actually takes, on a phone, in a facility, often without a connection.
Providers log family planning and CAC services on a phone during the session. No live connection is needed to record a service, so work never stops when the network does.

The CAC module records the whole care episode by age group, from counselling and presentation through evacuation method, complications, referrals, and post-abortion family planning.

Stock for all contraceptives and CAC medicines is tracked as it is received, issued, and adjusted, so balances stay accurate and stockouts are caught before they happen.

When a facility closes its reporting month, rsLog generates the FP and CAC monthly returns as PDFs, drawn straight from the records, with no manual tallying.

Five steps take a service from a phone in a facility to clean numbers in Ghana's national HMIS.
Provider enters services and commodities at the point of care, offline.
Data syncs to the server once a connection is available.
The facility closes the reporting month to finalise its records.
FP and CAC monthly returns are generated automatically as PDFs.
Clean summaries flow into Ghana's national HMIS, DHIMS2.
rsLog meets facilities where they are, including places with limited or intermittent connectivity. All three share the same data and the same logic.
Online portal for system administration and for report and data extraction. Used mainly at national level.
Offline Android and iOS application for data entry and reporting at the facility, syncing when connected.
Offline Windows desktop application for data entry where a computer suits the facility better than a phone.
Ghana's national HMIS is DHIMS2. rsLog does not replace it or compete with it. It captures the detailed, individual-level transactions at the facility, then generates the monthly family planning and safe abortion summaries that are entered into DHIMS2.
In other words, it feeds the national system with cleaner, more reliable numbers rather than creating a parallel one, and it captures the complete facility caseload, including services and commodities supported by partners.
